I have heard people say countless times that they would love to be able to make so much money that they can provide for their next few generations.
(Very few people already have that much money btw!)
But if you know anything about me you will know I am a huge advocate of "money does not make you happy"
Instead of leaving our grandchildren rich, what's more important is leaving our grandchildren happy and healthy.
When I say healthy I do mean physically but mainly mentally.
What I observe of society at the moment is that we carry around generations worth of trauma.
Our parents. Their parents. I don't know how many sets of parents above that. Lots.
See those ancestors didn't get time to heal. They just had to get on with life. But they passed down their issues.
We carry those issues. Years worth.
And then you dump our own on top of this pile.
It is a heap!
People think money fixes things and it doesn't.
It just highlights what was already there.
The only solution is to work on yourself.
So you can be a better partner, brother, sister, daughter, son, neighbour, colleague but most importantly a better parent.
Do the healing work. Practice self love. Grow. Evolve.
Prioritise happiness. Prioritise health.
Teach our kids that values and principles are more important than money and cars.
Success is not houses and jewellery. Success is a life filled with smiles and good feelings.
Those lessons are what will help your children prepare their children.
You can be the one who heals yourself.
And in doing so you can be the one who heals your future generations.
A world filled with woke people.
And that sounds like a world I would want my descendants to live in.
